The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with great concern the military operations in the Red Sea region and the airstrikes that targeted a number of sites in the Republic of Yemen.
In a statement published by the Ministry it added that the Kingdom stresses the importance of maintaining the security and stability of the Red Sea region , in which freedom of navigation is an international requirement to secure the interests of the whole world.
The Saudi statement calls for self- restraint and avoid escalation in the light of the events in the region.
