On Wednesday night, the US-UK naval alliance commenced air attacks on Yemen's Houthi-held airport in the port city of Hodeidah, according to Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.
Locals reported on social media that they heard two huge explosions and saw brilliant flames rise from the airport.
No other information on casualties was provided, since the Houthi rebel group, which controls much of northern Yemen, rarely reports its losses.
The US-UK alliance has not confirmed carrying out the strikes.
The airstrikes come a day after the Houthis claimed to have launched a hypersonic ballistic missile at Tel Aviv. Israel did not respond to the Houthi claim.
