Multiple explosions rang out near a vessel travelling through the Red Sea on Tuesday, but no damage was reported from the ship, according to the authorities.
The attack comes as the rebels continue their months-long assault on shipping via a waterway that regularly transports $1 trillion in goods annually.
The Houthis have stated that the attacks would continue as long as Israel's genocidal campaign continues, and the raids have already reduced shipping through the region by half. Meanwhile, a U.N. team of experts claims that the Houthis are extorting around $180 million per month from ships in exchange for safe passage in the area.
