The extremist group called “Ansar al-Sharia” (the name used by the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda in Yemen) said it executed 11 people it kidnapped during the last decade, including journalist Muhammad al-Muqri, who was kidnapped in 2015 during the organization’s control of parts of Mukalla, Hadramaut Governorate (south-eastern Yemen).

Activists on social media circulated a statement attributed to Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, disclosing that 11 people had been executed.

The group published the names of the people who were kidnapped and executed.
