Iran-backed Houthis stormed the village of Hankat Al-Masoud in Qifah Rad'a, in Al-Bayda governorate, South east E of the capital Sana'a, after besieging it for several days. Local sources told Khabar news agency.
The militia elements using their heavy weapons and equipment, stormed the village, with their snipers taking positions on the minarets of mosques, following intense clashes with local residents who were unhappy with the Houthi’s imposing their authority on the area by force.

US ambassador to Yemen, Steven Fagin, strongly condemned the Houthi attacks targeting innocent civilians in Al-Bayda Governorate.
"We strongly condemn the Houthi attacks on innocent civilians in Al-Bayda governate. The deaths, injuries, and wrongful detentions of innocent Yemenis perpetrated by Houthi terrorists are depriving the Yemeni people of peace and a brighter future".
